I’ve never been so forward with a man before, but Xander is too hot and sexy to resist. I know I would kick myself for years to come if I don’t take advantage of this opportunity to sleep––and, hopefully, not sleep––in his bed with him tonight.

My swallow is audible in the large room as I wait for his response to my unsubtle offer.

Once inside his large, darkened bedroom, he kicks the door closed, carries me straight to the bed, and gently sets me down on it. Light from the nearly full moon illuminates the room with a wide variety of blue hues as we both kick off our shoes.

When he lifts his shirt up and over his head, I scramble to my knees in front of him on the bed––anxious to get my hands on his flat abs. His skin is hot to the touch. Carefully avoiding his bandaged area, I skim my palms over his shoulders, along his pecks, and down his sides.

He sucks in a breath between his clenched teeth at my light touch. His skin ripples under my hands as the electric energy between us jolts to life.

His hands dive into my hair. One palm cups the back of my head as the fingers of his other hand massage the back of my neck.

My lips fall open as I savor his exquisite touch. Tingles shiver along my spine as he rubs me in an area that I didn’t even realize could be sensual. I can’t begin to imagine how amazing it will feel when he reaches my actual erogenous zones. If this ecstasy is a hint of what it will be like, I’m liable to spontaneously combust.

Our heads angle to the sides as we bridge the distance between us. I flick my tongue out to wet my lips as I wish for the brush of his lips against mine more than I’ve ever wanted anything in my entire life.

We share the same air as we hover there, enjoying the intense moment as anticipation crackles between us.

His fingers trace down the sides of my spine, creating a delicious zing of pleasure in their wake. They don’t stop their exploration when they reach the waistband of my jeans. Instead, they continue downward. He cups my rear end in his palms. The heat of his hands radiates through the denim as he yanks me closer to him.

My vision goes blurry as I feel his hot, hard length press into my abdomen.

This impossibly sexy man is creating a churning fire of desire deep in my belly that’s unlike anything I’ve ever felt before.
